My fellow Tim burton/Disney lovers should know that Sally is basically obsessed with jack skellington.. And I figured the best way to show that, without adding him to the drawing, would be to give her actual Disneyland jack skellington murchandice! I own both the stuffed animal and the ears.... But I love this.. Mostly because Made it for me! And today I'm planning on creating something else.. Any suggestions??

"Drunk in Space"
If you somehow have the ability to leave our beautiful planet earth and endlessly wonder through the dark abyss of space then I would first like to advise you to NOT drink while you are out of your space craft... And on that note... I have a New project for you titled "Drunk in Space" of course!!! In my 2D design class at GCC we just finished the first part of our balance/color projects... We first had to chose a type of balance.. I chose radial, we also had to make it black and white! So my creative little brain came up with drunk astronauts (Due to the fact I was not allowed to do the starship enterprise from "Startrek", I was dissapointed.) SO first, as usual for my 2D class I had to come up with three compositional sketches...
I chose the third one...
Then I had to transfer my basic sketch onto a new piece of Bristol board that I painted flat black..
After that it was just a matter of taking the tape off and bringing it to class to be turned in ... Once in class it went through the voting process to decide who's was the "best".
I'm overjoyed to announce that mine won the Critique!!
"Drunk in Space" acrylic on Bristol
Well that's it for tonight, I think I'm going to take the night off from creating and conquer mt. dirty laundry!! I am determined to prevail!! Good evening to all, have a glorious tomorrow!

Lana Del Ray
First I had to choose a composition.. And out of many different drawings I decided on this one.. It was easier to draw all the objects on Bristol bord and then trace my drawings so I would be able to easily chose a composition.
After that I just shaded what I wanted to be black..
Then I transferred my drawing to a new Bristol paper.. And began blacking out the shaded areas with sharpie..
But this was only the half way point!!! After I had the positive done I had to start the negative.. So I traced my positive drawing with the opposite shading.. And then put transfer paper onto a new Bristol sheet...
Overall I am very happy with how it turned out.. And I was beyond excided about winning best in class for it, especially because of some of my other classmates projects!! Now here are some photos of everyone else's!

Star Wars!
I haven't been on for a while due to no longer being in my photography class; to be honest I don't have a lot of time and whatever free time I have is usually used to draw or paint! BUT I do intend on posting more often because I would love to get some feedback on anything creative I do... This week I'm going to focus on.. thats right... STAR WARS! I figured it would be a fun topic and I'm using it as a way to slow down and take a break from all of my college classes! I started with a Storm Trooper because I wanted to do a black and white drawing.. after the sketches it turned into a painting! I tend to take photos of the steps as well as the end product so bare with me!
First I made a simple sketch of a Storm Trooper.
Then I outlined my sketch so it would be easier to see.
After the thicker line I only had to paint, I chose to only use black, white, and a little bit of gray for a stronger contrast.
after all the black and white was painted I was done with the storm trooper.. then only final touches needed to be made... this was the fun part! all I needed was.... BLOOD! Then I was done... Let me introduce my Zombie Storm Trooper!! HA
I had fun.. and now to move on to two other Drawing/paintings... The Force Is With you.
